Notes arranged by topics, such as bishops; biographical materials including autograph letters (e.g. William Shenstone, in Vol. 21); extracts from public and private records including transcripts from MSS in the possession of Sir Thomas Winnington of Stanford Court (Vol. 23); heraldry (Vol. 28), including coloured arms drawn by Prattinton from stained glass; index of clergymen (Vol. 29); index of names (Vol. 30). Vol. 23 A (presented by David Brian Williams, May 1996; details of recent provenance on file at SA) contains further transcripts from MSS of Sir Thomas Winnington including the roll of daily expenses, 1289-90, of Richard de Swinfield, Bishop of Hereford (edited by the Rev. J. Webb for the Camden Society, 59 (1853), 62 (1855)), excerpts from Thomas Dineley's 'History from Marble' (Camden Society, 94 (1867), 97 (1868)), and notes on Herefordshire parishes and Hereford Cathedral. With pen illustrations by Prattinton. See Barnard (1931), 9, 112. The original roll of Bishop Swinfield is now Bodl. Lib., MS Lat.hist.d. 1 [RJ]; Dineley's MS is now Bodl. Lib., MS Top. gen.d. 19 (S. C. 54201).
