Scope and content
A collection of title deeds and related documents, principally relating to London. Most of the London properties came into the hands of the Brocket/Brockett family, lawyers of The Middle Temple, London, many through the marriage of William Brocket and Jane Dring in 1711. Other members of the Dring family, particularly Thomas and Dorothy, are mentioned in Bundles 1-3. Bundle 10 comprises miscellaneous deeds relating to properties in London, Berkshire, Essex, Herefordshire, Hertfordshire and Oxfordshire. Bundle 11 comprises deeds relating to the estate of Lionel, 3rd Earl of Dysart.
