Scope and content
This volume was compiled by William Copeland Borlase, FSA, of Laregan, Penzance.
Most of the drawings are by John T Blight, FSA. A great many are unpublished; others were used in his 'Crosses of West (and East) Cornwall'. The cromlechs are Blight's (& Borland's) sketches for the former's projected 'Cromlechs of Cornwall' and the latter's 'Prehistoric Stone Monuments' (with W C Lukic).
Also contains manuscripts and material relating to the Isle of Man and Wales (crosses, chapels etc).

The inside cover includes a note from William C. Borlase about the drawings and sketches contained in this volume, including antiquities in Cornwall by J.T. Blight, crosses in the Isle of Man by Mr. Cummings, cromlechs and longstones in Cornwall by Mr. H.A. Crozier, along with his MS notes.
