Scope and content
This volume was compiled by William Copeland Borlase, FSA, of Laregan, Penzance.

Most of the drawings are by John T Blight, FSA. A great many are unpublished; others were used in his 'Crosses of West (and East) Cornwall'. The cromlechs are Blight's (& Borland's) sketches for the former's projected 'Cromlechs of Cornwall' and the latter's 'Prehistoric Stone Monuments' (with W C Lukis).

Also contains manuscripts and material relating to the Isle of Man and Wales (crosses, chapels etc).

The inside cover includes a note from William C Borlase about the drawings and sketches contained in this volume, including antiquities in Cornwall by J T Blight, crosses in the Isle of Man by Mr Cummings, cromlechs and longstones in Cornwall by Mr H A Crozier, along with his manuscript notes.
