Contains: a book of blotting paper with a print of an ink drawing of Worcester on the cover; typed transcriptions of two letters to Way from Michael Faraday dated 10 and 22 March 1853 responding to an enquiry about glass and experiments carried out on specimens for Way; notes and drawings on inscriptions; two letters in 1841 from John Henry Parker in Oxford; a Carlisle newspaper article of 6 August 1859 on an archaeological sermon; two letters written by Way, purchased from Christopher Edwards in 1998 - 7 January 1861 to the art dealer, Dominic Colnaghi, seeking the return of a portrait of Lord Darnley, and 25 June 1863 checking on the earlier return by Way of a 'fibula', thought to be addressed to William Samuel Symonds of the Hooker family.
