Sketchbook containing information on a number of sites in Italy, predominately churches, including the Cathedral at Luca as well as churches around Bologna, Ravenna and Florence. Each entry has rough notes and sketches detailing architectural features, including column capitals and towers, and decorative elements, including inscriptions. There are also some watercolour paintings depicting features and internal views of churches.
