The following Fellow was recommended for election: Peter Vere.
John Charles Brooke Esq. communicated a letter from Mr Pownall of Bath giving an account of an inscription on a stone found there together with a detailed drawing.
The Lord Bishop of Salisbury communicated a Memoir of the Rev. Dr Carlisle of Cumberland describing some Roman antiquities found there and foundations of a Roman building extending half a mile.
