The following Fellow was elected: George Chalmers.
The following Honorary Member was elected: Charles Pontoppidan, Councillor of State to the King of Denmark.

Letter with drawing from John Pownall on a curious stone sepulture with earthenware urn and iron cramps, found at Lincoln, east of the ancient Lindum. Possibly Roman, but not dateable, it was in the possession of Rev. Dr. Gordon, Precentor of Lincoln.
