Scope and content
Pencil drawing of the north door in situ showing the Norman decoration plus side sketches of capitals and other stones. Some measurements of stones are given. The top half of the doorway has been converted into a window.

This door has been repositioned to make an entrance in the blocked up chancel arch, leading into the chapel. The carving as seen today is very much worn, in comparison to what is recorded here.
