This Crozier is cut on a hard wood, and appears to have been gilt, as the Gold remains on many parts thereof - Around the Stalk, is fixed a Brass Plate, with the following Inscription.
This Crozier was found Anno 1741, in the Coffin of Thos. Seabrook chosen Abbot of Gloucester in 1450. - He died in 1457, it was given to the Abby of Old Windsor by Dr Milles Dean of Exeter in 1764.

To the Society of Antiquaries of London, this Drawing is presented by Geo. Allan, a Member 1798.
