Scope and content
'Precepts Issued By.. the Commissioners for the Taking Examining and Stating the Publick Accompts..' (fol. iii). A register containing copies of letters requiring attendance before the Commissioners to provide information for their accounts; 17 May 1711-22 March 1713/14. The Commission was set up on 25 March 1711; see M. F. Bond, Guide to the Records of Parliament (1971), 136-7, for further information. Matters under examination included Navy victualling, Customs and Excise revenues, prizes taken at sea, accounts of the Warden of the Stannaries of Cornwall and Devon.
