'Caedmonis Monachi Paraphrasis poetica', ed. Francis Junius (Amsterdam, 1655). Interleaved volume containing a Latin translation and manuscript notes by Edward Lye and Owen Manning. Letter of Richard Gough (tipped in, p. 106) to the Rev. Owen Manning, 26 Aug. 1779, saying that the plates of Caedmon had fallen into his hands and asking Manning to undertake an English translation which Gough would publish. At the end of the volume MS notes and calculations of publishing costs. A letter by Rowe More in J. Nichols, Literary Anecdotes, V (1812), 404, mentions Lye's translation.
