Scope and content
An alphabet of arms, Ayleffe-Yong; copy of an earlier source. Consists of names, blazons and small ink drawings of charges. The heading, fol. 1, refers to Essex visitations of 1621 and 1634 but the former date may be an error for 1612. See M. Noble, History of the College of Arms (1805), xxv-xxvi (Appendix K) and T.
