Extract from Stepney manor court roll relating to the admission of William, son of Agnes Douner, widow, deceased, to 7 cottages under 1 roof and a garden in 'Algatestret' (Aldgate Street, London), on the east side of 'Bryklane' (Brick Lane) between 'Bryklane' on the west and a cottage in the tenure of Henry Chicchele on the other side, which Agnes and her late husband Richard Downer held on the surrender of Richard atte Hook and John Hynkesey.
