Scope and content
Accounts of lands belonging to the priory of Dartford, Kent, rendered to the prioress, Elizabeth Cressener for the year, Michaelmas 1521-Michaelmas 1522. The account was drawn up by William Wiggan, clerk and receiver-general of the priory, and audited by John Sedley. It relates to lands in Kent (membranes 7-10), Dorset, Wilts., Surrey, Suff., Norf., Wales, and London (membranes 5, 6). The last membrane is endorsed with a note in English relating to the delivery of eight(?) skins to Ryc. Leys House in Lombard Street. See J.
