Wares Miscellany' (fol. vi). Possibly a herald painter's book (cf. fol. 55v); c. 1739 (fols. 33, 55v)-1758 (fol. 59v), with additions. Several notes refer to the 'Office' (College of Arms). Arms in trick, including a few foreign arms (fol. 6v). Together with arms mostly granted by Stephen Martin Leake, Garter, and Charles Townley, Clarenceux, 1759-61 (fols. 62-70). Index, 18th century, fols. vii-xvii.
