Scope and content
Arms of knights. Imperfect. Eleven folios from an armorial containing 90 coloured shields and crests with nine blank outlines. Consists of arms of knights, temp. Henry VIII (most knighted in 1537, 1542, 1543; one later entry, fol. 2, relating to Sir James Williams, knighted 1553, possibly added subsequently). Three rows of three shields. See W. C.
