Scope and content
Account book of Sir William Twysden, of Roydon Hall, East Peckham, Kent, 5th Bt. (d. 1751), and his son, Sir William, 6th Bt. (d. 1767), etc.; 1715-78. The main contents (commencing p. 390) relate to sales of wheat, payments and receipts, wages, interest on money, taxes, etc. Summaries of woodfelling, 1715-66 (pp. 379-86) and 1767-78 (pp. 468-84); section relating mainly to rents received, 1723-32 (pp. 750-69).
