Carta executoria de hidalguia, or attestation of nobility, granted by Philip II of Spain to Alonso de Torres of Alcaudete; Granada, 26 Apr. 1583. Lacks seal, fragment of cord remains. The grant is preceded by two illuminated pages: BVM and St Francis, with kneeling figures of Alonso de Torres, his wife and two sons (p.iii verso); arms of Torres (recto preceding p. 1).
