Carta executoria de hidalguia, or attestation of nobility, granted by Philip IV of Spain to Juan de Mansilla, Duque de Strada, of Aranda de Duero; 31 May 1639. Leaden bulla of Philip IV attached by a twisted pink, white and yellow cord. The grant was originally preceded by two illuminated pages of which the first is now missing; the second (p. 1) bears the arms of Mansilla. Finely decorated throughout with illuminated borders of flowers, heads, helmets and shields. Signatures of officials, p.201; official note, p.202.
