Scope and content
Arms and crests of baronets, mainly of those created 1611-30, with some entries relating to later creations (eg. incomplete entry for Sir Richard Fanshawe, created 2 Sept. 1650, fol. 123); 17th century. Sir Evan Lloyd (created 21 June 1647 according to Burke) is here (fol. 122) said to have been created 11 Jan. 1646/7. Arms in trick, on engraved shields with helms and mantling. Shields of related families entered on the versos. Smaller leaves (fols. 135-50v) inserted at the end of the volume, contain arms, in trick, of baronets living during the second half of the 17th century. Later index, fols. iii-iv verso.
