Discovered by Samuel Woodward, geologist and antiquary (1790-1838) among old deeds of the Bedingham estate, Norfolk, and presented to him by Clement Unshank. Note by Woodward, Norwich, 24 July 1837, fol. iii verso, and references, fol. vi, to the abridged publication of the will by Sir N. H. Nicolas, Testamenta Vetusta, I (1826), 37-44; Woodward has marked in blue passages not printed by Nicolas.
