Agreement between (1) Robert Bell of 'Rederith' (Rotherhithe), Surrey, mariner, and (2) Jarvis Hockett of the same place, mariner, and William Case of St Mary Magdalen, Bermondsey, Surrey, mariner for (1) to levy a fine for the capital messuage called the Mote Place in 'Rederith' (Rotherhithe), Surrey, heretofore in the occupation of Peter Hills and now or late of Richard Greenway, with the adjoining moat; the wharf (118 feet in length) adjoining the Thames before the said house on which are built several houses and buildings occupied by Bell's tenants; a parcel of ground called Barne Close and the houses and buildings thereon, with an adjoining meadow plot (1 acre); 3 messuages on the west of Mote Place in the occupation of Nathaniel Mathew, John Poulter and Richard Doves; another wharf (52 feet in length) directly before the messuages and the building on it occupied by John Holecrofte; and 1 piece of former wasteland (163 feet in length) occupied by Bell abutting east on the churchyard there and the buildings on it.
