Agreement between (1) Mathie Draper of 'Camerwell' (Camberwell), Surrey, esq., and (2) Edward Scot of Camberwell, esq., and William, Bartilme, Acton and Edgar Scot of Camberwell, gentlemen, concerning the occupation of common or waste ground in 'Camerwell' (Camberwell) and 'Pekham' (Peckham), Surrey. (1) grants that (2) shall hold and occupy 'Pekhamry common', the common way called 'Lordshiplane' and the common called 'Rydesett' and other commons and highways within the precincts of the manors of Camberwell, except the land at the lower end of 'Halywell Woode'. (2) agree that (1) shall hold and occupy the common called 'Camerwell Grene' (Camberwell Green) towards the parish church until the pale occupied with the tenement of John Bowyer of Camberwell, esq. (1) reserves right to enclose the part of the waste ground with ditch adjoining his mansion house. Endorsed with 3 witness marks to delivery and seisin. No seal tags or seals.
