Notes by the Rev. Charles Lyttelton on churches, other buildings and antiquities in various counties. Compiled 1741-67. Visits to churches, etc., are dated, beginning with Spilsbury, Oxon., 10 Dec. 1741, and ending with Warkworth, Northumb., 27 Aug. 1767. Tipped in, fol. 39v, a wash drawing of the monument of Bp Ralph de Luffa, Chichester Cathedral. Miscellaneous entries include a reference (1752), fol. 37, to pictures of Nonsuch Palace in Lord Paulet's house (John Poulett, 2nd Earl Poulett). Note by Lyttelton on the contents of this volume, architectural styles, etc., fols. i, ii. BL Add. MS 69375A is Lyttelton's rough notebook, 1758-67.
