Scope and content
'A Booke of ffees and offices'. Names, offices and fees of Crown officials beginning with the courts of revenue and officers of justice and ending with South and North Wales in the section relating to towns and castles of war, etc.; dated 1 August 1553 'Anno primo Regine Marie' (fol. iv). The list of officers includes (fol. 29) John (Dudley), Duke of Northumberland (executed 22 Aug. 1553), as Great Master of the Household. Contents listed in Minute Book XI, 11 May 1769, pp. 111-12. Illuminated title page, fol. iv, with the royal arms and Tudor rose in initials, and border of flowers and fruit, including pomegranates. Table of contents, fols. v-vi.
