Bookplate of Dr. Thomas Morell, DD, FRS, FSA (d. 1784), fol. iii, who presented it.
Scope and content
The Historia Bohemica of Aeneas Silvius, in five books, with preface addressed to Alphonso, King of Aragon. Written in a humanist hand, in Italy. Spaces for initials. Catchwords throughout. Marginal annotations in many hands, 15th-17th century. Miscellaneous notes, genealogical (Ham, Trojans, etc.), and historical, including references to the Silvii, fol. iv; short note 'De origine gentis gallice', fol. 104v, after the end of the main text.
