Scope and content
'Offers of Mediation made by The Swiss Protestant Cantons to the Republicks of England and Holland in 1653..' (fol. 4). The Swiss mediation assisted in the negotiations leading to the Peace Treaty of 5/15 April 1654 which concluded the first Anglo-Dutch War.
