(i) Correspondence from PG Inwood containing local research into General Oglethorpe and the Westbrook Park area as well as arrangements for photographs of the latter to be taken by Chaplin Jones (1956-8);

(ii) A copy of a 1896 Conveyance related to Westbrook House, with drawings of the site and boundaries;

(iii) MS notes extracted from 'Journals of Gilbert White' and 'Boswell for the Defence' relating to General Oglethorpe, as well as extracts from other reference materials;

(iv) typescript extracts from an article appearing in the Surrey Times of 20 February 1954 entitled "Americans hear of ghost at Oglethorpe's home" , from "Haslemere in History (1956), as well as extracts from other reference materials;

(v) Property title papers (1855) and Indentures of Conveyance (1799 and 1817);

(vi) an MS draft of 'A Brief Defence of General Oglethorpe" by AWG Lowther in response to "The Court Martial of General Oglethorpe" in SAL Transactions 1954;

(vii) 7 Photographs of Westbrook park taken by Chaplin Jones (3 are 12"x9 1/2" and 4 are c 8 3/4"x 9 3/4").
