Archival history
According to a letter from R. H. D'Elboux, 1 Oct. 1954 (with SA MSS Catalogue cards) Lambarde's library was sold many years before his death (1948); part was acquired by Ralph Griffin (who wrote LAM/04) and some volumes of Lambarde's Kent church notes were sold by Foyles from Griffin's library during the 1939-45 war.
