Scope and content
Collection of loose letters and paperwork relating to the production of a survey of defensive earthworks around the UK. Most correspondence is either making arrangements in relation to the survey or printed reports on the sites themselves, however there is some correspondence relating to a disagreement between a member of the Society and a Mr. Cope in relation to the position of editor at the Hants Field Club, and a refusal to assist with the survey in response. There are also some photographs and drawings of related sites along with some extracts from published works relating to the excavation of earthwork sites.
