Grant by Richard Rawe of Newcastle upon Tyne, sailor, and his wife Anna, daughter of Francis Comynge the elder, late of Newcastle upon Tyne, 'scissor' (carver), deceased, to William Jackson of Newcastle, public notary, in accordance with an agreement of 13 May 1593, of 7 burgages or tenements, of which 1 burgage is in 'Pilgrame Streate' (Pilgrim Street) and now in the occupation of John Leck the younger 'scissor' (carver), and the other 6 burgages in a lane called ' le over deane bridge' now in the occupation of the said Richard Rawe and Adrian Comynge, widow. With appointment of attorneys. Signatures of Richard Rawe, Anne Rawe and Roger Rawe, Mayor of Newcastle. 2 (of 3) seals (poor impressions) extant on 3 seal tags.
