Grant by Edward Swynborne, Mayor, Andrew Bewike, Sheriff, and the Commonalty of the town of Newcastle-upon-Thames to William Thomsonne (Thomson) of Newcastle, butcher, of a garden in 'Westegate', Newcastle, between a tenement belonging to the chantry of St Lodowin in the church of St Nicholas, Newcastle, on the west and a tenement belonging to the chantry of the Blessed Virgin Mary on the east, extending from the King's highway on the north to the [?] of the said town on the south, rendering annually to the Sheriffs of the said town 20d.
