Grant by Robert Maners, perpetual chaplain of the altar of the Blessed Virgin Mary in the church of All Saints, Newcastle upon Tyne, with the consent of the patrons of the chantry, to Christopher Brigham of Newcastle, merchant, of a messuage and dovecote in 'vico p[er]egrinor[um]' (Pilgrim Street). The tenement, now in the tenure of Richard Amre, weaver, and formerly in the tenure of John Pateson of Newcastle, weaver, now deceased, is situated between the land late of John Carlyll on the south part and a tenement of the said Christopher Brigham on the north part, and extends from the King's highway on the west part to the rivulet called 'Ayrekeburn' on the east part, rendering annually to Robert Maners and his successors as chantry chaplain 12d.
