Mostly relating to the Elizabethan Society of Antiquaries, with obits (fols. 22v-3v) of antiquaries, 1623-1751. Copied by Joseph Ames, Sec. SA from STU/07; 1752. Read by Stukeley at a meeting on St George's day, 23 Apr. 1752 (fol. 1; Minute Book VII, fol. 14v). Note by Stukeley (fol. ii) 'Copyed by Mr Ames from mine, with Additions'. Joseph Ames also copied the Minutes, 1717-51 (now BL Egerton MSS 1041-2). Text copied within an oblong area marked on the versos and accompanied by marginal notes. Unrelated fragment of a draft letter, fol. 24a.
