A copy of a letter from the Private Secretary to H. M. Queen Mary, responding to queries raised relating to the use of her crown during the coronation of King George V. There is also a copy of an updated statement relating to the crown, issued by Buckingham Palace, to the displayed alongside the crown itself at the Tower of London, stating the Queen's right to withdrawn the piece for personal use should she so wish.
