Typescript draft chapter written for an unpublished book on royal regalia, with handwritten annotations throughout. This section discusses which pieces, including plate, swords and robes, are most likely to have survived the civil war and what happened to those pieces which were disposed of or destroyed. It goes on to discuss the restitution of some surviving pieces to Charles II after the restoration as well as providing a detailed account of the provision of new regalia for his coronation. There are also details given on pieces used in subsequent coronations, including the Prince of Wales crown and the Queen consort crowns.
