1983 ��a large and unexpected sum for the necessary removal of asbestos lagging in the Society�s central heating system, and there will be further expenditure under this head in 1984 as the Society obtains possession of additional accommodation in the former British Academy premises�.�
1986 �I cannot take leave of the office of Treasurer, on completing my sixteenth year in the appointment, without expressing my thanks for the help always freely given to me in the execution of the work relating to it�.�
