The box label is in John A Goodall’s hand, and the contents show extensive indications of work by him.

Introduction by London, with description of the MS, recording that the transcript was made by Jane Lambarde when the MS was in the possession of Mrs Poole of Marbury Hall, Whitchurch, Shropshire. Typescript carbon, with MS note by London that he, Anthony Wagner and Hubert Chesshyre had checked Lambarde’s transcription against the original when it came into the possession of Sir Sidney Cockerell in the 1940s.
