Insertions include:- Letter to Ellis from Nicholas Carlisle, 2 Sept. 1839 (fols. 5-7);- Printed pamphlet in blank verse by the Rev. Stephen Weston, FSA (cf. fol. 58), entitled Fragment of a Tragedy lately acted at the British Museum (1806), conc. the rearrangement of the Cracherode collection after the death (1799) of the Rev. Clayton Mordaunt Cracherode (fols. 61-2);- Copy of a printed letter circulated to Fellows by Peter Muilman FSA, 14 Feb. 1775, complaining that he had been insulted at a SA meeting (fol. 106; letter of presentation by John Joseph Bennett, FRS, of the British Museum, 1859, fol. 105).
