A copy of Evelyn's plan, made by Joseph Ames, 1744, with a transcript of Evelyn's commentary. John Nickolls brought the original plan to the meeting of the Society on 14 June 1744; Sir John Evelyn, grandson of John Evelyn, brought other drawings or plans and a longer account by Evelyn of the project to the meetings of 7 and 21 June 1744.
