The text in the Register is preceded by a note: ‘The Title of the Draft of the Rock which is in high Dutch shews what is intended by it and in English is'.
Description of Trajan's rock on the right bank of the Danube (in the defile of Kazan, above Orsova, opposite Ogradina) and its inscription, with reference to a published drawing and to the account in Count Luigi Ferdinando Marsigli, Danubius Panonico-Mysicus (1726).
