Scope and content
A Bronze Age burial site on Hengistbury Head was excavated in 1911-1912 by J.P. Bushe-Fox under the supervision of the Research Committee. His report was published by SAL in 1915. In the 1980s B. W. Cunliffe and a team from Oxford University excavated Iron Age settlements on Hengistbury Head.
