Sir Joseph Banks Bart communicates a letter from Captain William Ricketts on the discovery of curious bricks upon digging at the foundation of an old harbour at Folkestone.
Reverend Stephen Weston exhibits a coin of Gadir together with a letter of explanation.
Craven Ord exhibits Fabian’s Chronicle together with accompanying note.
Samuel Lysons communicates a remarkable Indenture whereby Sir Walter Raleigh licensed Mr Peter Edgcumbe to keep a Tavern and sell wines.
The following Fellows were admitted: George Duckett.
The following Fellows were elected: George Lister, William Smith.
The following Fellows were recommended for election: Samuel Reynolds Solly.
Notice is given of the ballot for election of James Millikin (1-12-1808).
