The following Fellows were recommended for election: John Sidney Hawkins and Richard Sharp.
The following Fellows were elected: James Esdaile and Msgr Vincent de Plauchut, a foreign correspondent.
The following Fellow was admitted: James Meyrick
The Rev. John Glynn King D.D. presented an impression of an engraved Plate in Aquatinta of the Barbarini Vase and permitted the use of the Plate by the Society to illustrate papers on the subject.
Mr Pegge continued with his Dissertation on the ancient establishment and functions of the Sergeants at Arms.
