Col. Vallency disputes Monsr. Gebelin’s theory that the inscription on Dighton Rock, New England, is Phoenician or Catharginian in origin.
William Bray communicates a paper from Mr Willis of the Places where the battles between Edmund Ironsides and Canute were fought.
Francis Robson exhibits a bronze Indian idol, or Swammie, with the head and tail of a monkey, the other parts of the body human.
