The following Fellows were elected: John Call; Richard Clark, Lord Mayor of London; William Houlston; Lieut. General Charles Rainsford; Thomas Swinnerton

The following Fellows were admitted to the Society: John Henniker, Philip Metcalf, Rev. Mr. Noble, Richard Joseph Sullivan

Hon. D. Barrington presents four volumes of manuscripts containing the accounts of the respective Comptrollers of the Household and Keepers of the Wardrobe of Edward I and II.

Proposed by the Council to have a drawing taken, for engraving, during the Summer Recess, of the painting at Cowdray, of the Procession of King Edward VI from the Tower of London previous to his Coronation. Concurrence of the Society granted.

Lord Arden exhibits an old Roll, of Walter de Whitteliseye, Monk of Peterborough, temp Edward III containing a Chronicle and Pedigree of the Kings of England with their portraits, previous to the year 1374.

The Duke of Northumberland exhibits a beautiful cameo of Britannicus.

Observations by Rev. Mr. Woide on the Pentateuch Roll exhibited by Mr. Bridger at the previous meeting (9 June 1785).

Rev. I Douglas, DD exhibits a silver instrument, supposed to be a Brooch, found in April 1785 on the grounds of Thomas Mattison, near Newbiggin, Penrith.

Earl of Bessborough returns thanks for the present made him of volume VII of Archaeologia, with the offer of any antiquity in his possession for the use of the Society.

Lord Adam Gordon returns thanks for his election.
