The following Fellow is recommended for election: John Grose.
Council applies for the permission of the Society to erect a marble bust of His Majesty the King in the Meeting Room assigned to them in the new buildings at Somerset Place. The Society agrees to the proposition.
Mr. Bacon, an eminent sculptor, is employed in executing a copy of a marble bust of the King.
An account of altars found at Boullness; and at Middleby in Anandale
Description of and observations on a statue of Briganita Dea.
