Samuel Pegge makes an enquiry concerning the Matrices of Conventual seals to Gustavus Brander, highlighting further difficulties in accounting for the number of Conventual Originals; considers the opinion of Bp. Kennett, highlighting such seals were unlikely to be lost; some seals were destroyed in front of witnesses at the Convent, but others were potentially not observed.
