Report of the Auditors of the Treasurer.

Sir William Chambers communicated an account of antiquities lately discovered in the villa Negroni and at a house near S. Carlo, including account of rooms underground in the Gardens of the Villa Negroni, with mosaic pavements etc. and of a very curious oriental alabaster urn with inscription near S. Carlo in the Corso in Rome, belonging to the Cæsar family.

Roman pottery fished up near Margate Sands exhibited, by Mr. Gustav Brander, with a paper by Governor Pownall on them.

Two islands in the mouth of the river Thames, mentioned by Ptolemy: Κωουννος and Toliαλis.
