Hon. D. Barrington presented pamphlets on the probability of reaching the North Pole.
Edward Bridger takes possession of the Treasurer’s chair and gives thanks for his election.
Observations by Richard Gough on the inscription on Gundreda’s tomb stone.
He communicates an account of two human skeletons found in peat in a meadow at Lee in Romsey parish, Hampshire, greatly preserved and with beads around the neck of one of them.
Rev. Michael Lort on Dr. Woodward’s enquiry into the reputed wisdom of the Egyptians, with his own prefatory letter on the subject.
